I enjoyed finishing the book by Steve Hitz, The Ministry of
Business. Even though I didn't feel that it had any new material I haven't
already heard before, I did appreciate it being a very concise, easy, and
thought provoking read. It is a book I would recommend to others because it was
an easy read. I found it a little challenging to write my Personal
Constitution and writing about a fear. I don't feel like I am a deep thinker,
but rather a go-getter. Taking the time to be pensive and ponder has made me
feel like I am wasting time and not doing a task that should be getting done. It
was really good to sit down and focus on what I want in my life and some ways
that I can change and become better in order to accomplish those goals.
I really liked reading Clay Christensen’s, How Will You
Measure Your Life. I have read it in the past, but it is such great material to
review. As I was studying the information this week, I had the impression to
share it with my children, who are all of young adult age and in college. I
know they are busy in their science, math and English classes, but this is such
great material for them to implement and think about in their own lives are
they are making very important decisions that will impact their future.
